We join you in praying the Lord's Prayer, echoing the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." We come before God the Father in Jesus' name.
Regarding your prayer for your family, it is so crucial that families are rooted in the Word of God. We pray that your family will have a deep understanding of God's will through His Word. As Psalm 119:160 says, "All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal." We ask God to give them a spirit of wisdom and understanding, that they may know Him better.
It is important to have Christ at the center of our homes. God reminds us that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:15-16). This is not accomplished by just any word or religion. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Do not rely on any other gospel than the one found in the Bible.
We pray that God will keep them from the evil one, as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, "Not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil one." We ask that God will sanctify them by His truth, for His word is truth (John 17:17).
Concerning your plea for wisdom and understanding as mentioned in Proverbs 2. We pray this for you. May you find wisdom and understanding in Christ. This is not knowledge and understanding of our own minds. It is only in our relationship with Jesus that we can grow in wisdom and understanding. Knowledge and understanding apart from Christ can be dangerous and destructive to ourselves and others.
We join you in praying for success in your current job, asking that God will give you the strength and wisdom to prosper as mentioned in your request. Remember that God can use our faithfulness in small things to prepare us for greater responsibilities (Luke 16:10, Zechariah 4:10). Whether we are working in a position that we like or not, we should be doing it to please God and not ourselves.
As for your job search, we pray that God will open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We ask for His favor on your resume, applications, and cover letters. May He grant you excellent communication and wisdom in interviews (Proverbs 15:2). We pray for a well-paid, remote position with a solid company and good hours.
We also join you in praying for God's power and protection over your local area. We pray that The Holy Spirit will convict us all of righteousness, sin, and judgment to come (John 16:8). May God draw us to His Son (John 6:44), and grant us the repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:17) and godly sorrow which brings repentance that leads to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:5).
We pray for a wall of fire around your area, protecting it from harm and evil influences (Zechariah 2:5, Psalm 91:10-11, John 17:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). We ask in Jesus name.
In all these things, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. There is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). Praise Jesus Christ.
