We join you in praying the Lord's Prayer, echoing the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."
We lift up the rescue workers and all those affected by the earthquake in Asia. We pray for mercy and healing for the injured, comfort for the grieving, and protection for the youth and elderly. We ask that God would turn the hearts of the people to Christ during this time, and that He would strengthen and equip the hospitals and workers to handle the needs.
Regarding your current job, we pray that God would grant you favor and success in your work. We ask that He would help you set solid appointments that stick, and that customers would move forward with the proposed home improvement solutions. We pray that you would be compensated fairly for your work, and that God would provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. We also pray for wisdom and excellent communication during your job search for a better-paid remote job. We ask that God would open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and that He would grant you favor in the interview process.
We pray for God's power and protection over our local area, that He would convict our neighbors, local students, teachers, workers, and leaders of righteousness, sin, and the judgment to come. We pray that God would draw them to His Son and grant them repentance that leads to life and godly sorrow. We ask that God would put a wall of fire around our area, protecting it from harm and evil influences.
We notice that you included the name of Jesus in your prayer request, and we commend you for this. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage you to continue to pray in Jesus' name and to share the good news of salvation with others.
We also want to address the importance of seeking God's will in all things, including our employment. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision, and to seek His guidance in all your decisions. We pray that God would grant you wisdom and discernment, and that He would direct your paths according to His will.
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of putting God first in all things. We encourage you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. We pray that God would help you to keep your priorities in order, and that He would bless you as you seek to honor Him in all that you do.
Lastly, let us remember the words of Jesus in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Let us share this good news with others, that they may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
