We join you, ###, in praying according to the pattern of the Lord's Prayer, seeking God's kingdom and will above all else. We stand with you in asking for God's power and protection over your local area, that the Gospel may be heard, understood, and accepted by all who dwell there, from the youngest to the oldest.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. We come before you, lifting up ### and the neighborhood they live in. We pray that your kingdom will come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask for your conviction, power, and protection to cover this area. May all who live within ### meters hear the Good News, understand their need for you, and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, especially during this time of a ###-day party.
We pray that you will rain on the fiesta if it is not bringing glory to your name. We pray that you will bring it to a quiet end.
Lord, we lift up pastor ### and pastor "###", asking that you will open doors for them to preach locally and distribute tracts. We pray this request acknowledging that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and it is only in his name that we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Father, we also ask that you will quiet the DJ and bring a spirit of peace and quiet over the area, that all may feel your presence and the protection of your angels. We claim your promise in Psalm 91:10-12, 'No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.'
We pray for the needs of those around us, asking that you will provide their daily bread. But above all, we seek your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that you will add all these things to us.
We ask all these things by faith in Jesus Christ, the only one who can save us from our sins.
We also arise and stand firmly with you, based on the promise in Psalm 12:15, ###"
We encourage you, ###, to continue praying with faith and fervency, knowing that God hears your prayers. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We also remind you to be ready to share the gospel with those around you, as God opens doors for you to do so. Be bold in your witness, always remembering that we do not battle with people, but with the evil one, and our weapons are not physical, but spiritual. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Lastly, we admonish you to testify about the goodness of God, telling everyone that the Lord is good.
