Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is suffering from agonizing back pain. Lord, we believe that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would touch and heal our friend's back, relieving them from this pain and discomfort.
Your Word tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." We claim this promise for our friend, trusting in your power to bring healing.
We also pray for guidance and provision in their medical situation. Lord, you know the neglect they have faced from the doctors and insurance. We ask that you would intervene and open doors for the necessary medical care and support they need.
In the midst of this trial, we pray for strength and peace for our friend. Help them to trust in your plan and to find comfort in knowing that you are with them every step of the way. May they experience your presence and love in a tangible way.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness. We believe that you are working all things together for good, according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
