We understand your heart's desire for a strong and flourishing relationship, but let's first ensure that this relationship aligns with biblical principles. We are encouraged to ask and believe in faith, as Jesus teaches, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8 WEB).
However, it's crucial to seek God's will in all things, including relationships. We should not rush into commitments but rather trust in God's timing. As Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
We need to be careful not to manipulate God's will but to patiently wait and trust in His plan for our lives. It's wonderful that you desire a born-again Christian spouse, as God's word advises us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). However, we should not hurry God's process or try to force His hand.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for this relationship. We ask for Your blessing, protection, and guidance. Help this relationship to grow stronger and deeper in a way that honors You. Make it flourish according to Your divine plan. If it is Your will for them to be united in holy matrimony, we ask that You align their paths and make it abundantly clear to both of them. Most importantly, we ask that You strengthen their individual walks with You, Lord Jesus. Help them to delight in You and trust in Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and to trust in His perfect timing.
