Lord why did you give it in the first place if it was going to be so shortlived

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ###. Lord, we acknowledge that there are times when we question the circumstances and experiences we face in life. We may wonder why certain blessings or joys are given to us, only to be short-lived.

In moments of confusion and disappointment, we seek your guidance and understanding. Help us to trust in your divine plan, knowing that you are always working for our ultimate good, even when we cannot see it. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace to surround ### during this time of questioning. Grant them the assurance that you are with them, even in the midst of uncertainty. Help them to find solace in your promises, knowing that you are a faithful and loving God.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, that they may gain a deeper understanding of your purposes and plans. Open their hearts and minds to receive your divine revelation and guidance. May they find strength in your Word, as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Lord, we surrender this prayer request to you, knowing that you are the source of all wisdom and understanding. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May your will be done in ###'s life, and may they find peace and contentment in your presence.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

This reminded me of Job. In Job 1:20-22
20 Job stood up and tore his robe in grief.
Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship.
21 He said,

“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be naked when I leave.
The Lord gave me what I had,
and the Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the Lord!”
22 In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.

There are times, whether we like it or not God might take things away from us but later on
restore it back to us. Our faith grows stronger. However, there is one promise that I remembered
while typing this reply to you.

Jeremiah 29:11

It is painful to lose something but I know God has a purpose in what he does we just can't see it for now. I pray God will reveal it to you in time to come in Jesus name!

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart.Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
