Lord, today I ask you to grant me a calm, mental balance with composure between being too over-confident and being panicky and pessimism during interview preparation and when conducting 1-hour virtual interviews with prospective employers. You watched me in my home doing my interview preparation throughout this year. Although I know and have done enough virtual interviews with different prospective employers in the past, the Enemy in the kingdom of darkness simply doesn’t want me to succeed. He hates me because I have been chosen by you so he seeks to block my path of progress and cause failure.
Every time the evil spirits of panic and fear were sent by the Enemy to confuse, and distract me using other means (even using toxic family members with malicious lies and untruths against me) to negatively influence the outcome and shut the opportunity door thus selling myself short with my interview performance. It happened not because I did my research about the key decision makers known as hiring managers and about the different businesses through doing mind maps but because I was caught out by the type of questions raised by the interviewers so I knew that I would be eliminated from the interview process leading to disappointment. You know that many invitations for interviews will soon come after a long drought. I simply cannot take for granted or make assumptions after any interview process that any potential employer will provide a job offer.
I have endured much disappointment many times as a result of the Enemy’s desire to kill, steal and destroy. It is up to hiring managers to decide after my virtual interviews with them whether they like me as a person and whether I am the right person that can fit as an effective team member for their business. So once again, Lord, I ask you for your spiritual guidance and advice to allow me to face up to and handle every virtual interview situation whenever it may occur so that I provide the right answers thus allowing them to come back with a job offer.
I want to return back full-time permanent employment from the unemployment wilderness based on hybrid working but only on favourable terms so I can also spend time helping my disabled wife who really needs my help and assistance with food shopping and preparing dinner meals when I am working from home once again.
I now place this matter at your feet as you are the impossible spiritual specialist who can work anything because you already have the oven-ready solution and have read my written words based on my thoughts. Everything has been left up to you to work out because you know my past, present circumstances, and future opportunities no matter how bad things may get. Amen.
