Lord this morning after studying your word I prayed and asked for the Holy Spirit’s guidance for the day, and for my life. Usually, I am in a hurry and I do not often wait for your answers. But this morning I waited, and then these words came to me. Accept each day’s challenges! Remember that I have promised to be with you always!! Oh Lord, if I step out in faith and trust you, you will be with me. Your answer may not be just what I had in mind, but remind me that you see the bigger picture. You know what I need, help me, Lord to recognize my blessing, and to thank you each day. In Jesus name I pray. amen

Heavenly Father, who loves mankind and are most merciful and compassionate, have mercy upon Your servant, for whom we humbly pray and commend to Your gracious care and protection. Be their guide and guardian in all their endeavours, lead them in the path of Your truth, and draw them nearer to You, that they may lead a godly and righteous life in Your love and fear, doing Your will in all things. Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout, and charitable. Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption of this life, and direct them in the way of salvation: Through the merits of Your Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
