We understand that you are seeking God's intervention and comfort for various situations, and we are here to pray and offer guidance with you. Let's first address the health concern about your loved one's Atrial fibrillation. We are reminded of God's care for us in Matthew 6:26, Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
It is good to pray for healing, and we can find an example in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. In praying for your loved one's health, we should also remember the importance of aligning our prayers with God's will. As it says in 1 John 5:14, This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this loved one who is dealing with Atrial fibrillation. We ask for your healing touch upon their heart, that it would beat normally again. Guide the doctors and the upcoming tests, Lord. If this condition is caused by stress or dehydration, we pray that you would help them manage stress better and remind them to stay hydrated. Comfort them, Father, and take away their fear and anxiety. We can confidently pray this because we know that in Jesus Christ the Bible says in John 16:23b-24, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
Lord, we also lift up the various concerns about employment, finances, travels, and health. We are lucky to be able to pray because in Jesus Christ we are allowed to Psalms 121:7-8 which says The LORD will keep you from all evil. He will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.
Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for better health and reduced anxiety. Help complete work tasks with no issues. Provide a safe environment during travels, and help with taxes and home repairs.
Help us to ask these things in Jesus Christ's name and according to your will because then we can have confidence in 1 John 5: 14-15. Just to remind you all, the only way for salvation is through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Regarding other concerns, remember Jesus' words in Matthew 6:33-34, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient. Trust in God's provision and timing, knowing that he cares for you.
Lastly, we gently remind you to hold on to God's promises and pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved and we should not be anxious for tomorrow as we are to be anxious for nothing and pray about everything with thanksgiving as it says in Philippians 4:6, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
