Lord, thank you for starting your work ...
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of Emilio. We thank you for the work you have already begun in his heart, drawing him closer to you. We pray that you would continue this work, Lord, and that you would not let him go astray.
We ask, Lord, that you would transform Emilio into a man of God, a vessel that is dedicated to your purposes and filled with your Spirit. May he grow in his knowledge and understanding of you, and may his heart be aligned with yours.
We also ask, Lord, that you would continue to work on us as well. Help us to be open to your leading and to continually seek your will in our lives. May we be vessels of your love and grace, reflecting your character to those around us.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in your faithfulness and believing that you will complete the good work you have started. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
