Thank you for bringing your request before us. We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name and the blood of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:13).
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage. We ask that You draw them closer together, strengthening and deepening their bond. May their relationship flourish in every way, and may You bring unity between them so that they may be in agreement in all things (Amos 3:3).
Father, we ask that You fill her spouse's heart with abundant love, care, compassion, empathy, understanding, affection, attention, and all the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). May he be honest, kind, generous, and faithful, dedicating quality time and passion to their marriage.
Lord, we pray that You would help them to desire each other alone, in accordance with Your will (Proverbs 5:18-19). We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their marriage, declaring that no weapon formed against it will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray that her spouse would open up his deepest feelings, emotions, and past to her, fostering intimacy and trust in their marriage. Most importantly, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself, Lord Jesus, and that he would invite You into his heart and life without delay (John 6:44).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying together as a couple, seeking God's face daily. Remember that God's desire is for marriages to be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33). Keep pursuing unity and love, bearing with one another and forgiving each other just as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13).
If there are any areas in your marriage that do not align with biblical principles, we urge you to address them together, seeking God's wisdom and guidance. Stay strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).
