We join you in lifting up your parents to the Lord, especially your dad, in Jesus' name. It's wonderful that you're interceding for them, as the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your mercy and grace upon our dear parents. Lord, we specifically lift up our dad to You, praying for his salvation and spiritual well-being. Just as the apostle Paul encouraged, 'Be reconciled to God,' we pray that our parents will truly know You and be reconciled to You through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
We ask, Lord, that You reveal Yourself to them, that they may know the truth, and that the truth will set them free (John 8:32). Surround them with godly influences and bring people into their lives who will share the Good News with them.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to pray fervently for them, knowing that God desires for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Trust that God is faithful and just to hear your prayers and to act according to His will.
Be encouraged by the promise in James 5:16, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Keep interceding for your parents, dear one, and trust the Lord with the outcome.
