We understand that you are hurting and seeking God's intervention in your marriage. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.").
We stand with you in prayer that God will remove the other woman from your spouse's life and restore your marriage. We pray that God will convict your spouse's heart and bring them to repentance, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB "For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, bringing no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death."
We also pray for your healing and strength during this trial. Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful.") and His desire is for you to have a marriage that reflects His love for His bride, the Church (Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.").
However, we must also remind you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring that you are being the spouse that God has called you to be (Matthew 7:3-5 WEB "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye."). Pray for God's guidance and wisdom in your own life as well.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Lord, we ask that You remove the other woman completely from this situation and bring restoration and healing to this marriage. Convict the hearts involved and bring them to repentance. Help them to seek You and Your will for their lives. Strengthen them with Your wisdom and Your Holy Spirit. Guide them as they navigate these challenges, and bring them to a place that is pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
