We join you in your daily prayer, lifting up your concerns to the Lord. We stand on God's promise in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone."
Regarding your employment, we pray for God's continual provision and protection. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." We ask that God would bless your diligence and keep you both secure in your jobs, safe from layoffs or pay cuts.
Concerning your exemption form, we pray that it reaches the county in a timely manner and that your exemption is maintained. We trust in God's timing and provision, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of those in authority. As Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
We pray for your financial security and health, asking God to guide your steps and provide for your needs. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also lift up your desire to retire when you wish, asking God to protect your finances from legislative changes or global shifts. Trust in God's faithfulness, as seen in Hebrews 13:5, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We noticed your prayer is to the Lord and not specifically to the name of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is by His name that we have access to God. As Jesus himself taught in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In Jesus' name, we pray for your faith to grow stronger, for God's protection over your employment, finances, and health. We ask that God would guide your steps and grant you peace, knowing that He is always with you. Amen.
