Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of gratitude and humility. We lift up our dear friend who seeks Your divine touch upon the heart. Lord, Your Word reminds us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We ask that You fulfill this promise and transform the heart to be filled with kindness and compassion for others.
Lord, help this dear one to resist the temptation of comparison. In Galatians 6:4, Your Word says, "Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else." Guide this person to find contentment and joy in the unique path You have laid out.
Father, instill a deep love for goodness and righteousness. As it is written in Romans 12:9, "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." Empower this individual to turn away from evil and embrace all that is good and pleasing in Your sight.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
