Heavenly Father,

We come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness for our dear friend who is burdened with the weight of past actions. Your Word in 1 John 1:9 reminds us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Lord, we hold on to this promise and ask that You cleanse this heart and soul from any guilt or shame.

Lord, we know that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and we pray that this individual feels Your renewing grace and mercy today. Grant the strength to turn away from past mistakes and to walk in the light of Your truth, guided by Your Holy Spirit.
