Lord please show me if I should keep being ...

Lord please show me if I should keep being friends with this person. At church where we only see each other, he looked scared and ignored me after I smiled at him and shouted his name. He went out of his way to greet my father in the sanctuary like nothing happened and then brushing it off, I said hi and then he said hi to me in front of my dad who I am having issues with, so please help me with that too. I guess my friend felt pressured to say hi back to me in front of my dad. I pretended my friend didn't ignore me all that time after he said hi back to me and I even asked him if we could hang out sometime with my parents and he said yes. He even calls me his best friend. He never ignored me before. I thought this friend and I had a good friendship going. I even secretly like him romantically. Please help me with what to do about the friendship Father God. In Jesus' Name I pray Amen. If anyone has advice on what I should do about the friendship, please feel free to help me.
