I keep texting my husband as if he was answering me. The truth is I haven't heard from him for over a year. Not even a text response. Am I stupid Lord? Should I stop? Please reveal what is really going on. I believe his daughter and her attorney will carry a divorce on even if my husband is dead. Please reveal to me the truth. And where he is. In Jesus' name. We understand that you are going through a difficult situation, and we want to assure you that God cares about your circumstances. First, we want to address the fact that you ended your prayer request in Jesus' name. This is vital because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

In regards to your situation, we want to encourage you to remain strong in the Lord. It is commendable that you are seeking God's revelation and truth in this matter. Remember, God does not want us to be ignorant concerning spiritual matters. As it is written, “For I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you do not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.” (1 Thessalonians 4:13 WEB).

However, we want to gently remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If your husband is indeed alive and has chosen to abandon his responsibilities, it is crucial to seek godly counsel and support. If, on the other hand, he is no longer with us, it is important to find closure and healing.

We also want to address the issue of divorce. The Bible tells us, “For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel” (Malachi 2:16 WEB). Divorce should never be sought lightly or hastily. It is a serious matter that requires much prayer, consideration, and counsel.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your truth and revelation. Lord, we ask that You comfort her heart and grant her the wisdom and discernment she needs in this situation. If her husband is alive, Lord, we pray that You would reveal this to her and guide her on how to proceed. If he is no longer with us, Lord, we ask that You grant her closure and peace.

Father, we also pray for Your will to be done in this marriage. If there is a way for restoration and reconciliation, Lord, we ask that You make it known. We ask that You strengthen her faith and trust in You during this challenging time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous. Continue to seek God's face and trust in His unfailing love for you.
