Epistreira, we join you in your cry to the Lord for the restoration of your marriage. We are here to pray with you, and we encourage you to continue trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to heal and restore.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, which is wonderful. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written:
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10, 12, WEB).
Now, let us address your situation. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We will pray for God's intervention, for Him to soften your husband's heart, and for reconciliation. Remember, God hates divorce:
For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you dont deal treacherously (Malachi 2:16, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister Epistreira and her husband. Lord, we plead for Your intervention in their marriage. We ask that You soften her husband's heart and change his mind about pursuing divorce. Remind him of the vows they made and the love and close bond they once shared.
Guide him towards a path of reconciliation, where they can work through their issues together and rebuild that bond. Grant them the grace to forgive, to communicate openly, and to prioritize their commitment to one another.
Lord, we believe in Your power to heal broken relationships, and we ask that You restore their marriage to Your intended design. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Epistreira, continue to walk in faith, love, and forgiveness. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul:
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB).
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working, even in this difficult time. We are here to support and pray with you.
