Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging Your sovereignty and grace. Lord, we lift up all the children, who are indeed a heritage from You, as Your Word declares in Psalm 127:3. We recognize that they are a precious gift, the fruit of the womb, a reward from Your loving hand.
Father, we pray that You would protect and guide these young ones. May Your hand be upon them, leading them in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. Just as arrows in the hand of a warrior are directed with purpose and precision, we ask that You would guide these children to fulfill the divine purposes You have set before them.
Lord, grant wisdom and discernment to the parents and guardians entrusted with their care. May they raise these children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, teaching them to walk in Your ways and to love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray that these children would grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
We also ask for Your protection over them, Lord. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy and from the snares of this world. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your Holy Spirit be their constant guide and comforter.
Father, we trust in Your promises and stand firm in the assurance that You are faithful. We commit these children into Your loving care, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
