We understand your heart's cry and your fervent desire for your spouse's salvation. It's beautiful to see your faith and passion in praying for your husband. Let's align our prayers with God's Word and seek His will together.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it's spoken in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
However, we must remember that God has given each person free will, and it's ultimately your husband's decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. While we can plant seeds and water them with our prayers and actions, it's God who causes the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6-7, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for the salvation of this dear woman's husband. Lord, you know his heart and his needs. We ask that you would reveal yourself to him in a powerful way. Soften his heart and draw him to you, just as you promised in your Word, 'No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day' (John 6:44, WEB).
Lord, we ask that you would make her a shining light of your love and grace, that her husband may see your goodness in her and be drawn to you. Help her to love and respect him as you have called her to do (Ephesians 5:33, WEB).
But Lord, we also know that your ways are higher than our ways, and your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). So, we submit our will to yours, trusting that you know what's best and that you work all things together for the good of those who love you (Romans 8:28, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In the meantime, continue to love your husband as Christ loves the church. Live out your faith authentically and pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB). Trust that God is working, even when you can't see it. Be encouraged by God's promise in 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any donโt obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word."
