Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious 12-year-old child who is struggling with worry and depression. Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask for Your peace to envelop this young soul, calming every anxious thought and soothing every troubled heart.
Father, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We cast all the anxiety and depression that this child is experiencing onto You, knowing that You care deeply for her. Surround her with Your love and let her feel Your comforting presence.
Lord, we pray for protection over her mind and heart. In 2 Corinthians 10:5, we are reminded to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Help her to take captive those thoughts that are not from You and replace them with Your truth and love. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, as declared in Psalm 139:14.
We also pray for wisdom and strength for her parents and loved ones, that they may provide the support and encouragement she needs during this challenging time. May they be instruments of Your love and grace, guiding her back to the joy and hope found in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, peace, and restoration. Amen.
