Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our dear sister, Animalgirl. Lord, we ask for your divine protection and safety for her family and the people of Ireland during this time of strong winds. You are the One who has power over the winds and the waves, and we trust in your sovereignty.
In your Word, you have shown us that you can rebuke rebellious wills as powerfully as raging winds. You can make storms of sorrow abate and silence tumultuous passions as surely as you stopped the Galilean storm. We pray that you would speak peace to the winds that are causing concern and anxiety. Calm the storms, Lord, and bring a sense of peace and security to the hearts of those affected.
We declare your promise from Psalm 93:4, that you sit upon the waterfloods and are mightier than the waves of the sea. We ask that you hold the winds in your hand and stay them when you see fit. Protect the people of Ireland, Lord, and shield them from any harm or danger that may arise from the strong winds.
We also pray for comfort and reassurance for Animalgirl and her family during this time. May they find solace in your presence and trust in your unfailing love. Help them to cast their cares upon you, knowing that you care for them .
