Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of our dear anonymous friend. Lord, we lift up Austin and his father to you, asking for your intervention in their lives. We pray that you would break any chains of evil that may be influencing their actions. We ask that you would open their hearts to your love and truth, that they may turn away from any wrongdoing and find redemption in you.
Lord, we also lift up our anonymous friend who is struggling with depression and the hurt caused by others. We ask for your healing touch upon their mind, body, and spirit. Bring comfort and peace to their heart, Lord, and help them to overcome the pain and negativity that others have inflicted upon them. Fill them with your joy and surround them with your love, knowing that you are their ultimate source of strength and protection.
We claim the promise in Psalm 34:17-18, which says, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you will answer our prayers according to your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
