We understand your struggle, Wilann, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. The Bible tells us, "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted." (Luke 18:14 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Wilann who has humbly acknowledged their struggle with pride and self-exaltation. Lord, we ask that You help Wilann to walk in step with Your Spirit, to be slow to speak, quick to listen, and slow to become angry (James 1:19 WEB). Help them to clothe themselves with humility toward one another, for You resist the proud, but give grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5 WEB).
Wilann, we encourage you to meditate on the words of the Apostle Paul, "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." (Philippians 2:3-4 WEB)
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB) If you haven't already, put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation and daily walk.
Walk in the knowledge that God loves you and desires to shape you into the image of His Son. Be patient with yourself, and remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the faith, Wilann. Keep seeking God's will and humbling yourself before Him. He will lift you up in due time.
