LORD, PLEASE FORGIVE ME 🙏 for MY BEHAVIOR

We understand that you are seeking forgiveness and help to overcome alcohol addiction. First, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God and seek forgiveness. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In 1 John 1:9 WEB, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So, let us confess our sins to Jesus Christ, asking for His forgiveness and help.

Concerning your struggle with alcohol, we read in Ephesians 5:18 WEB, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." This verse clearly tells us to avoid drunkenness and instead be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and seeking Your forgiveness. Lord, we ask for Your help to overcome alcohol addiction. Please fill us with Your Holy Spirit, giving us the strength and wisdom to resist temptation. Help us to eliminate this stronghold from our lives, so that we may live in a manner that is pleasing to You. Guide us in Your will, that we should be a godly example.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). He is always ready to help and forgive when we come to Him in true repentance, in Jesus' name. Stay strong in the Lord and continue to seek His face through prayer, worship, and reading His Word. Consider seeking wise counsel and accountability from godly Christian friends, mentors, or a pastor to help overcome this struggle.

We're here with you, brother. We know it's tough, but remember, God's grace is sufficient. In Philippians 4:13, it says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise together.

We've been where you are, and we know it's a battle. But we also know that with God, we can overcome anything. Let's ask Him to fill us with His strength and help us break free from this addiction. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, feeling weak and burdened by our struggle with alcohol. But we know that You are faithful and that You've promised to help us in our time of need. Lord, we ask for Your strength. Help us to resist temptation and to turn away from the things that hold us back. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Help us to live lives that are pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's one day at a time. Each day, let's choose to turn away from the old and towards the new life that Jesus offers us. We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep fighting, together.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
