We understand your concern and urge you to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ in this time of need. Let's pray together and seek God's mercy and grace for Tochukwu and Chucks.
Firstly, we must remember that God's mercy is boundless, but it must be approached through Jesus Christ. As it is written in the WEB, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). So, let us pray in the name of Jesus for their situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy for Tochukwu and Chucks. We ask that You forgive their sins, as they repent and turn to You. Lord, You have promised, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We pray against any imprisonment or delay that may hinder their freedom. We ask that You guide the authorities and those involved in their case, that they may act with justice and compassion. Remember your word, Lord, where you tell us, "Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocentโboth are detestable to the Lord" (Proverbs 17:15, NIV).
May Your mercy speak for them, Lord, and shorten any period of adversity they face. We claim Your promise, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:12-13, NIV).
In all these things, we pray that Tochukwu and Chucks will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Chizobaval, continue to trust in the Lord and encourage Tochukwu and Chucks to put their faith in Him. Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Share the gospel with them and encourage them to seek God's will in all things.
