We understand your longing for your love, Ash, but we must first align our desires with God's will and His word. The Bible tells us, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4, WEB)
However, we must also remember that God's desire is for us to be equally yoked with fellow believers. As it is written, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB)
If Ash is not a believer or if your relationship does not honor God, we encourage you to seek God's will above your own desires. True love will always guide you back to God and His principles.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this dear soul who is longing for their love, Ash. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. Guide them both to a deeper relationship with You. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would make a way for that to happen in a manner that honors and glorifies You. But if this is not Your will, we ask that You give this person the strength to accept that and to trust in Your plan for their life. Help them to delight in You, Lord, so that You can give them the desires of their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
