Lord Please Bring Me Your Peace And Calmness

Dear heavenly father;

Tonight after not hearing from my daughter for weeks she called I was so excited, until she proceeded to tell me she knew her brother had been in the hospital again anf his wife had left him. The conversation ended badly. I know that my son is a drug addict and it has cost me dearly my friends and family seem to want nothing to do with me. Please I am begging you to help me help him, he has been seeking treatment even though it is with some self resistance. He is going to AA and a treatment program I know he has a long road ahead and I pray to you to guide him and continue to love him. Tonight I pray just for some family peace everyone has turned against me but I still remember you story of the prodigle son and how his father welcomed him back. I would pray to you to ask my family to welcome their mother back I miss my daughters and my grandchildren dearly. I also ask you again touch the heart of Dr. G. that he will at least let me apologize and with your blessing give me a second chance. I am sorry I stressed out at work and made mistakes and for anything I might have said that would have upset anyone. Please hear my prayers and touch the hearts of those that have been affected by all my mistakes and ask them to forgive me. Please Almighty Father hear this prayer.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
