We understand your concerns and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for your situation. We are instructed in the Bible to cast our anxieties on God, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Let's bring your requests before the Lord in Jesus' name.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is sovereign over all things, including our employment and health. We should strive to glorify God in our work, as we are instructed in Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." It's also important to always have Jesus at the center of our lives and prayers.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear person and their spouse. We pray for Your hand of protection over their employment, that You would keep them both employed in their current jobs and safe. We ask that You would help them to trust in You, even in the face of uncertainty regarding their finances and health.
Father, we ask that You would guide them in their financial decisions and keep their finances secure. We pray for wisdom for those in authority, that they would make decisions that benefit and not harm the people under their care.
We also lift up the health concerns mentioned. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch. We pray for a reduction in anxiety and for guidance on the path to better health.
We pray for guidance and wisdom in completing work tasks and for a smooth submission of their taxes.
Father, we also pray for safety during travels and for Your protection over their home.
Lord, we ask that You would help them to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your health, consider the words of the Apostle Paul, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). prioritize your health, both physically and spiritually.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:10-12 WEB "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
