Lord my ### ### has been absent ...

Lord my child's dad has been absent in her life for 13 yrs. Now he has decided he wants to be a father but yet makes up every excuse still to not spend any time with her. She doesn't deserve that treatment. He doesn't miss any occasion for his other kids and fails to show up for our daughter. He thinks because I always make ends meet it's easy. However, explaining over and over I need his help is useless. I am tired, exhausted, and broken. He is so cruel to me and my child. Then he likes to tease that I am still single and he is finally married. Father, I can't explain how painful that is. I am an amazing devoted woman and yet no one has come into my life. It's hurts because I still have been patiently waiting but no man has found me. I have prayed constantly and everyone around is getting married. Why am I still single and raising my child alone. Please God, I beg you to change my cruel child's father to become a real father to my daughter and please send me the husband I've been praying for. Decades have gone by and I don't have a husband. I am embarrassed to not be married.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister ### and her daughter. Lord, You see the pain and the struggles they face daily. We ask in Jesus' name that You touch the heart of her child's father. Transform him, Lord, to become the loving and responsible father that his daughter deserves. Your Word says in Malachi 4:6, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers." We claim this promise over their lives.

Father, we also bring before You the deep longing in our sister's heart for a godly husband. You know her faithfulness and her patience, and we ask that You honor her prayers. Your Word in Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that You bring a loving, devoted partner into her life, someone who will cherish her and her daughter.

Lord, we ask for strength and comfort for our sister. Renew her spirit and give her peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Let her feel Your presence and Your love, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.

Father, we know that You are a God of justice and compassion. Your Word says in Psalm 68:5, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling." We pray that You would be a father to this precious child, filling the void left by her earthly father. Comfort her heart, Lord, and surround her with Your love and protection.

Lord, we also pray for a change in the heart of her child's father. Ezekiel 36:26 reminds us of Your promise: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Soften his heart, God, and turn it towards his daughter. Help him to see the precious gift he has been given and to take up the responsibility of fatherhood with love and commitment.

In the midst of her struggles, Lord, our ### has remained faithful and patient. We ask that You remember her prayers and desires for companionship and marriage. Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." We pray that You would bring into her life a godly man who will love her and her daughter, honoring You in their relationship. May he be a partner who supports, cherishes, and strengthens her.

Father, we also ask for Your strength and comfort for our ###. Isaiah 41:10 promises, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Uphold her, Lord, as she navigates this difficult path. Give her the endurance and grace she needs each day.

We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Bring peace to her heart, and let her feel Your presence in every moment. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the miracles You will work in her life.
