We join you, Mrs. Morgan, in lifting up your precious children, Brailen and Kyler, as they embark on a new academic journey. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His protection and guidance for them.
Firstly, we echo your prayer for their safety. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone." We pray that God's angels encamp around Brailen and Kyler, shielding them from any hurt, harm, and danger, both seen and unseen.
We also pray that God grants them kindness and compassion, that they may not be bullies, nor be bullied. As Jesus taught in Luke 6:31 (WEB), "Just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them." May they be beacons of love and respect, treating others as they would like to be treated.
In their academic and athletic pursuits, we ask that God grants them excellence. As Proverbs 22:29 (WEB) tells us, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won't serve obscure men." We pray that God grants them favor with their instructors and coaches, that they may excel in all they do.
For Kyler, we pray a special measure of focus and determination, that he may catch up and stand out among his peers. As Philippians 4:13 (WEB) reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." We trust that God will empower Kyler to overcome any challenges he faces.
We pray that they remain humble in their accomplishments, remembering that every good gift comes from above. As James 4:6 (WEB) tells us, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'"
We rebuke and cast out any spirits of sluggishness, confusion, and evil that may have been placed upon Kyler. As Jesus commanded in Mark 16:17 (WEB), "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages." We claim this power in Jesus' name, turning any obstacle into an opportunity for good.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
