Trusting God During Surgery​

“God will take care of everything you need.” (Philippians 4:19 The Message) How do we trust that God will take care of us as He does the birds and the trees? Believing God’s Word will fan the flame of our faith as we live it out in hard circumstances.
We can ask for God's protection and safety both physically and mentally against harm and pain. We can petition the Lord to direct the hands of the surgeons and doctors and to give them wisdom. We can claim God's promises to be with us as we go through surgery.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this individual asking for prayers to You as they undergo surgery. Please guide the hands of the medical team and grant them wisdom. Surround this person with Your healing presence and bring comfort to their heart. We trust in Your mercy and healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
