We understand that you are facing workplace injustice and harassment, and we are here to pray and support you through this difficult time. We are grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for your acknowledgement of him. Firstly, we must remember that our ultimate trust is in the Lord. It is by the grace of God that we will have a good rest in peace. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
In regards to the injustice you are facing, we are called to pursue justice and righteousness. In Micah 6:8 WEB, it is written, He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? It is right to report the authorities to address the workplace injustice and harassment you are facing. However, we must also remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord. In Romans 12:19 WEB, it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.
We must also remember that God is our provider, and he will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. In Philippians 4:19 WEB, it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We can trust that God will provide us with a new job if that is his will, especially when we are faced with a difficult circumstance against a company that is breaking the law.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up our brother/sister who is facing workplace injustice and harassment. We pray that you will give them a good rest tonight, and that your peace will surround them. We pray that you will guide them as they report the authorities, and that justice will be served. We pray that you will rescue them from this difficult situation, and that you will provide them with a new job if that is your will. We pray that you will give them strength and courage to face this trial, and that you will be glorified through it. We pray that you will bring this company to justice.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen. At the same time we must also be willing to forgive others just as we want to be forgiven.
