We understand your concerns about employment and finances, and we stand with you in prayer. Let's first remember that God is faithful and cares about our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is concerned about their employment and finances. We ask that You watch over their jobs, and keep them both employed in their current positions. We pray for Your protection over them, that they would not be let go from their jobs.
Lord, we know that You are faithful and that You care about our needs. We ask that You would provide for them, and help them to trust in You. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all their needs.
We also pray that they would know You more, and that they would put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would draw them closer to You, and that You would give them peace and comfort in this situation.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
