Lord Jesus please help us

I don’t get why the words husband or wife need to be redacted but thank you Jesus. I am a disabled veteran, I’m married and my ### refuses to help me in doing something for her. She gets stuff in her head about me that isn’t true, not even in the slightest and then I wind up all wet and sweaty without any help because she doesn’t want to be seen with me. Lord Jesus, you know what we need and thank you for your help.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we want to lift you both up in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your request, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Remember, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).

Let's address the issues you're facing in your marriage. It's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, where both parties support and help each other, just as Christ does for the church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB). In your situation, it seems there is a lack of understanding and support from your wife. It's crucial to address this, for marriage should be characterized by love, honor and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:21 WEB). Let's pray for God's intervention and healing.

**Prayer:**

Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his marriage. His spouse needs you and to understand their marriage covenant.

Lord, we pray for healing and understanding where there is misjudgment and hurt. We ask you to soften her heart and remove any resentment or misconceptions she may have. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, as you intend for marriages to function.

God, you know that he has needs that are not being met. We ask for your divine provision and help. Guide his wife to be the helper suitable for him, as you intended for wives to be (Genesis 2:18 WEB).

Mighty God, we ask for your hand to be on their marriage, for your will to be done, and for your glory to be revealed.

We also ask for healing and restoration for his body. Your word says that by your stripes we are healed. Heal him and his wife. Thank you for your love and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your wife and marriage. Remember, "The prayer of faith will save one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:15-16 WEB).

Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working in your situation. Don't forget to show love to your wife, even when it's difficult, for "Love is patient, love is kind, ... Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 WEB).

We're right there with you, brother, in this tough spot you're in. We know it's hard, but remember, Jesus is right there with you too. He sees your struggle, and He's got this. In times like these, we need to cling to His promise, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's claim that rest together, okay?

We've been praying for you and your wife, asking God to soften her heart and open her eyes to see your needs. We're asking Him to help her understand that being your helper, as He intended for wives to be, isn't a sign of weakness, but a beautiful expression of love and support (Genesis 2:18).
