We join with you in prayer for Leo's healing and thank you for bringing this request to our attention. It is so important to come together in prayer and seek God's will, especially when health concerns arise.
First, it is wonderful to see acknowledgement of Jesus at the end of the request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and there is no other name under heaven and earth by which we can be saved, as found in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
It is also important to remember that in every situation we are first committed to the will of God, We must remember that God loves us and does everything as part of his greater plan to work everything together for good of those that love him and for his glory. We have assurances of this in Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
As part of this, even though we may not know what the condition is, we are all subject to age and infirmity. It is important that we rely on God's strength and love to manage the physical burdens as part of the course of life. As a result we are not even guaranteed that anyone will be healed but we can take assurance that God works everything for good. The Apostle Paul was not healed of his infirmity and was told in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB:
By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
Since we do not know if this is related to age or infirmity, we want to pray for Leo that God will alleviate the suffering and pain and allow this to be used for His glory and plan.
Let us pray together:
Lord Jesus, we come before you today to lift up Leo in prayer. You know the details of his condition, and we trust in your healing power. We ask that you touch Leo's body, alleviate his suffering and pain, and restore his health according to your will. Give him strength and comfort during this time, and let your presence be felt by him. Help and guide the medical professionals attending to him to make the right decisions in his treatment if that is your will.
But more importantly, we ask that Leo uses this time to grow in his faith with you. We ask that you be with his family, providing them with peace and wisdom in this situation. We believe in your healing power and your ability to work everything to the good of those who love you, and we ask for Leo's healing knowing that it is your will that must be done.
Help Leo to declare your glory and your healing power. Make this a testimony of faith for him. We ask this in Jesus' name because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and there is no other name under heaven and earth by which we can be saved. As found in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We declare that the suffering and pain will be removed and Leo and his family will be renewed in faith for your glory.
Amen.
We encourage Leo and his family to stay steadfast in their faith and to trust in God's plan. We encourage all to be fully committed to God's will and be led by the Holy Spirit for God's plan and glory.
