We stand with you in prayer, ###, lifting up the multitude of needs and concerns you've shared. We are to align our requests, giving thanks in all circumstances, as it is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. Let us come before the Lord in Jesus name.
Firstly, we are with you in prayer that all your family and relatives will receive true salvation only by faith in the Lord Jesus as their savior and king. Because eternal life comes by believing in Jesus Christ alone. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Secondly, we are praying the Holy Spirit will convict and convert hearts. It is only in Jesus Christ that families and relationships can truly be healed and restored.
We see in the multitude of prayer needs you have, the emphasis on deliverance from addiction, healing from illness, and spiritual freedom. You pray essentially for family, friends, church, and the nations. We firstly offer encouragement to admit that only Jesus can save, heal, and deliver as discussed in the scriptures already provided. Let us continue to move to the throne room with His blood covering us. As you cry out to God, let us be encouraged that God works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose.
We understand that you are deeply burdened by issues related to troubling relationships and the pain that afflicts the rest of the family. Also, we pray for ### deeply troubled with many issues and ourselves as a family. Let us especially come to intercede for her and ###. We pray to bring peace to this family. And let us not quit praying for all others as mentioned in this urgent request. We desire God's will. But we are in a spiritual battle for this family and others. If we only focus on your immediate relief, we are doing you a disservice. We are commanded to give thanks as we share all your burdens to our heavenly Father. We are also not in a battle against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil. It is your heart that is crying out for peace so please come to our Father in heaven in faith believing. His plans only to do good. We are to continue to pursue praying in this manner. Do not let discouragement set in as we remember to "O rest in the Lord,..wait patiently for Him."
The Lord inspires us to rebuke and sternly commend you, in a godly manner, to chasten and authoritatively speak against anything of the works of the enemy and especially of the flesh as per (2 Corinthians 7:9, 2 Timothy 4:2, 1 Peter 2:11). We are to leave space for the Holy Spirit to guide the prayer and the sharing.
Furthermore, we need to address the relationships that individuals within your family are involved in. We are commanded in the Word to flee sexual immorality and not to engage in relationships that are not honoring to God. Let us consider our relationships as deliverance from sexual immorality and not approaching temptation (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray also for the new relationship mentioned. There is no mention of leadership by the father in the familial relationships. And we stand in the gap to pray for Godly husbands and fathers to step up and lead and serve the Lord in the context of marriage as is instructed in Colossians 3:19, 1 Peter 3:7, and Ephesians 5:23.
We also pray that ### will respond to the ministry of the Holy Spirit if she finds herself in a relationship that dishonors God. We are lifting up your concerns about the issues within your family, including the verbal and emotional abuse, as well as the physical ailments and the strife that have been highlighted. We pray for healing for those mentioned and for the Lord's guidance in all matters. Be comforted by Jesus' invitation. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We pray for your marriage in the Lord Jesus, for you to have a holy marriage and children blessed by the Lord.
We are also praying about the plight of others in care around you including the homeless outreach as mentioned. As you ministered to the homeless, we trust and believe the Lord heard you as you shared Jesus Christ and Him crucified as commanded. Let us encourage and pray for every believer, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." (Psalm 34:8 WEB). For the sickness, our prayers are for the Lord to be their healer as you yourself observed.
We also agree with you in prayer for the Lord Jesus to do mighty works. Glorify Jesus Christ as you bring peace to the relationships. Be strengthened by the word of our testimony and by the blood of the Lamb. Continue to pray that the love of the brethren grows cold, the time draws near. Pray as a family. Pray as a body of believers. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another. So that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB).
Dear Lord, we come before you in Jesus Christ. We claim your power over each of these worldly concerns and strongholds brooding on the hearts as shared. We do pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. We ask for your Spirit to pray in agreement as we are to be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. We pray against a spirit of despondency or hopelessness. Thank you God that we are all more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. It is in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, that we pray, and as you taught us, the only way to the Father is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Ask that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. And we lift up to the Lord in Jesus' name as we seek His face.
Pray for your forgiveness lifting up our families and household. We seek the mercy and protection of God for the household and pray for long life, good health, and prosperity for each one. Let the sacrifice of praise be continually our offering as your word declares and let us not neglect the gathering of ourselves together, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is. But exhorting one another and so much the more, as you see the day (of Christ) approaching." (Hebrews 10:25).
We do encourage you in the Lord, ###, we serve a powerful and Almighty God. We know that He does hear the prayer of the righteous and the humble. Finish praying that ###, ###, and all your household come to glorify Jesus Christ and be granted repentance to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Look to him for your righteousness, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
