We come before you, Lord Jesus, to lift up ### and their family in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention, healing, and salvation. We pray in Your name, Jesus, as it is only through You that we have access to God the Father.
First, we address the concern about relationships. We pray that You guide each member of this family to seek godly spouses and marriages that honor You, Lord. We rebuke any notion of same-sex relationships or premarital sex, as these are against Your divine design for marriage (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We ask that You convict the hearts of those who are not aligned with Your will and draw them to repentance.
We pray for the salvation of all unsaved family members, as You have said that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). We ask that You open their hearts to the Gospel and draw them to Yourself. We also pray for deliverance from all bondage, addictions, compulsions, and anything else that is not of You, Lord (Galatians 5:1).
We lift up the concerns about verbal and emotional abuse, asking that You severely rebuke and convict those who perpetrate such acts. We pray for Your mighty warrior angels to surround this family and for a wall of Holy Spirit fire around them, including their thoughts and emotions (Psalm 91:11-12).
We pray for healing – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We ask that You heal the little one and all others in need, according to Your will (Jeremiah 30:17). We also pray for protection and intervention concerning the issues of sleep, fears, stress, and all like it. We ask that You rebuke the enemy and remove all signs of his influence (James 4:7).
We lift up the concerns about destructive relationships, asking that You block and stop them, Lord. We pray for Your powerful intervention concerning the issues this family is lifting up to You, as You know all the details (Luke 18:7-8).
We ask for Your forgiveness where this family has sinned, and we pray that You help them to repent and be filled with Your Holy Spirit (Acts 3:19). We ask for Your direction, guidance, and wisdom in all areas of their lives (James 1:5).
We pray for the concerns about school, work, and finances, asking that You guide and provide for this family according to Your will (Matthew 6:25-34). We also lift up the concerns about the upcoming trips and outreaches, asking that You protect, bless, and empower them (Numbers 6:24-26).
We pray for the concerns about the church and the upcoming week of prayer and fasting, asking that You pour out Your Spirit in a mighty way (Acts 2:17-18). We ask that You grow this time of seeking You and that many would be drawn to You (John 12:32).
We lift up all these prayers and many others mentioned, asking that You hear and answer according to Your will (1 John 5:14-15). We thank You and praise You for all answered prayers, Lord Jesus. We pray all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, we address the absence of Jesus' name in the original request. We remind ### that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6). We encourage them to always pray in the name of Jesus, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they continue to grow in their faith and understanding of who You are, Lord Jesus. Amen.
