We come together in prayer, lifting up ### and their family, rebuking any ungodly influences, and seeking God's will in their lives. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we address the issues of abuse, both verbal and emotional, that are present in the request. We rebuke these actions, for they are not of God. The Bible tells us, "But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth" (Colossians 3:8 WEB). We pray that the Lord would convict the hearts of those involved in such actions and bring forth repentance and healing.
We also address the concerns about relationships, acknowledging that any relationship outside of God's will is sinful. We pray that the Lord would intervene and bring an end to these ungodly relationships, guiding those involved towards repentance and a desire for godly, sanctified marriages. We pray for ###, that the Lord would convict her heart and bring her to repentance, breaking the cycle of catastrophic relationships and bringing healing to her child.
We lift up the physical ailments mentioned, praying for healing in Jesus' name. "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We claim this promise for the little one, ###'s eye, the ringing in ears, headaches, stomach aches, nausea, stress, fears, sleep issues, dizziness, heart racing, and all other physical ailments mentioned.
We also pray for the spiritual well-being of the family, asking the Lord to bring salvation, deliverance, and healing to all unsaved family members. We pray that the Lord would open their hearts to the Gospel, delivering them from all bondage, addictions, compulsions, and anything else that is not of Him. We pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit, that they may love the Lord first and foremost, obeying Him and living lives that glorify His name.
We pray for the upcoming trips, that the Lord would have His hand upon them, protecting and guiding all involved. We pray for the children, that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon them, protecting them from the influences of the world and bringing them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We also lift up the concerns about work, school, and finances, asking the Lord to provide guidance, wisdom, and direction. We pray that the Lord would provide for all their needs, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Lastly, we address the fact that the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ explicitly. We encourage ### to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). We remind them of the salvation message, that if they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
We stand in agreement with ###, claiming the promises of God found in Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:14-17, and Luke 18:7-8. We pray that the Lord would forgive their sins, heal their wounds, and bring restoration to their family. We declare that the Lord is faithful to all His promises and will answer their prayers according to His will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
