Dear ###, we join you in lifting up your family and these many concerns to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We commend you for your faith and fervent prayers, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we address the relationships mentioned in your request. We pray that God will guide each family member towards godly relationships that align with biblical principles. We rebuke any notion of dating or relationships that are not centered on God's will and His design for marriage between a man and a woman (1 Corinthians 7:2, Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that any relationships not aligned with God's will be brought to an end, and that those involved would seek God's face and repent.
We also address the mention of hypnosis and meditation. The Bible warns us to be sober-minded and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). We are to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), and to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), not by emptying our minds or seeking spiritual experiences outside of God's word. We pray that you and your family would turn away from these practices and focus on the true and living God.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, we plead Your precious blood over them, especially the little one. We ask that You surround them with Your mighty warrior angels and a wall of Holy Spirit fire. Lord, we ask for salvation, deliverance, and healing for the entire family. Open the hearts of the unsaved family members to the Gospel, deliver them from all bondage, addictions, compulsions, and anything else that is not of You. Lord, intervene in the difficult situations they are facing, and rebuke that which is not good. Act quickly, Lord, and block the enemy's work in their lives.
Father, we ask for forgiveness for any sins that have led to these struggles, and we pray that You would heal the emotional and soul pain, as well as the physical ailments they are experiencing. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their lives, and for You to go before them and make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would be the center of their lives, and that they would love You first and foremost, obeying Your commands. We ask for Your powerful intervention in their lives, and that You would convict them of any sin and comfort them in their affliction. Lord, we ask that You would heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
Father, we ask that You would protect them from the evil one, and that You would convict those who are causing harm and strife. Lord, we ask that You would bring peace and unity to their family, and that You would be glorified in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
###, continue to trust in the Lord and to lean on His understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Keep seeking His face, and He will guide and direct your paths. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you (Joshua 1:9).
