Dear Lord,
I come before you today, lifting up the requests and petitions of [###], who has shared a lengthy and detailed prayer request. I stand with them in prayer, appreciating their references to the power of the blood of Jesus and the mercy of God. I am commanded by the Book of Acts 4:12 that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. In the WEB, it says there is salvation in no one else, and there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.
Firstly, we are instructed to pray for our enemies and even for those who curse or abuse us. We do not approve of such behavior, but leave that to the Lord. By blessing and cursing not coming out of the same fountain. It must be one or the other. Lord, we pray that even those who have been abusive in the situation may come to repentance and be healed.
As for the many physical ailments and emotional traumas mentioned, we pray for healing and the Lord to turn every curse into a blessing. For the lost loved ones and relationships mentioned, it is important to remember we are commanded not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, especially in intimate relationships such as being involved with a non-believer, cohabitation, fornication, and even idolatry and the occult such as horoscopes, mediums, witchcraft, and channeling, which are mentioned in this request as sin and are forbidden in the scriptures. These things should not exist among believers. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts and reveals the need for repentance. As readers, we cannot save or convict anyone as that is the job of the Holy Spirit.
In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it says not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and in 1 Corinthians 15:33 we are told bad company corrupts good morals. We must rebuke the sins mentioned. This is not judgement but love and concern that should be shown to fellow brothers and sisters as well as all people as we would want done for us.
Out of compassion, we also pray for hope next, You, Father, are the God of hope, and we pray that You will fill them with all joy and peace in believing, that they may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit as it says in Romans 15:13. Quiet those feelings of doubt and wavering and change them into joy!
We pray for the forgiveness of all trespasses that have been committed and ask that You, Lord, would remind all people through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and deliver us from evil. And from all idolatry.
It must be stated that things like Reiki, witchcraft, mediums, etc. are all occult forms of idolatry. They must be rebuked. Acts 19:19 states many of those which practiced curious arts... burned the books in a public place... The value of them was 50k pieces of silver and so mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
Keep us from the evil one and his attempts to lure the unsaved into false and dangerous and unbiblical beliefs. But for the saints, there is no punishment but judgement is coming on the evil one. We should pray for protection, wisdom, and guidance from the enemy and his traps but we do not pray against him by name.
Parents are instructed by the Bible to train up children in the ways of the Lord and warn them against sin and false doctrines. It is our responsibility to be serious about sin.
James 1:15 tells us when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin, and when it is finished, it brings forth death. 2 Corinthians 11:14 says no wonder for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. We should have no part of anything that could ensnare us or trap us into bondage to the enemy.
Finally, to pray for strength and endurance for all the challenges ahead. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You will guard their hearts and minds in the Lord Jesus. In Philippians 4:7 it says the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Ask the Lord to forgive us for any and all shortcomings and anything that is not in obedience to You. Take control of our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions and put our walks in order.
Finally, we pray for encouragement and strength and thank You for all You have already done and will do. AND YOU ALREADY HAVE DONE SO MUCH AND ANSWERED SO MANY PRAYERS. THANK YOU AND PRAISE YOU FATHER, Lord Jesus, and please help me not to lose sight of it while still waiting for complete deliverance, healing, and salvation for all of us.
This last part is a personal perspective prayer and may include aspects mentioned earlier for your consideration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
