We come before You, Lord Jesus, to lift up ### and their family in prayer. We thank You and praise You for the improvement in symptoms and for the times you have spent with the little one in the lockdown. We appreciate and rest in Your healing power and the knowledge that You are our healer. We read in Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed”. We pray for complete healing of all kinds, including pervasive spiritual and emotional issues that are carrying over in the family.
We strongly rebuke the idea that one life is acceptable as it is as a single person to have a live-in boyfriend or girlfriend or partner. This is a deplorable sin, fornication, and it ought to be called sin and not glossed over or ignored. By allowing this situation, ### stands in violation of God's word as described in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication; That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God”. This request is very clear, we ask You to deliver her, put an end to the pregnancy hopes and the desire for bondage. We ask for the help understanding the need to honor God with a biblical marriage. We pray for repentance for her and salvation from false doctrines and false teachers.
We pray to You, Lord Jesus, for the difficulty and pain described. We ask You to intervene and laugh at the wicked with Psalms 2:2-4: "The kings of the earth take a stand, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Yahweh, and against his Anointed," saying, 'Let's break their bonds apart, And cast their cords from us."' He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.” We ask for unity, for love, peace, joy expressed in all members of the family taking on the attributes Fruits of the Spirit. We rejoice in Acts 16:31, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household”.
We affirm and celebrate the praises given. We understand Your will for deliverance from alcohol and from sinful and toxic relationships. We ask You to have mercy on the abusers and be a strong presence in the lives of the victims. We confess Jesus Christ makes intercession for us. We are called to live in the Word of God. You tell us in Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God”. We cling to these truths, affirm the great saving power of Christ Jesus and submit ### and their family to You.
We let the peace of God rule in our hearts, to which also we were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our heart to God. And whatever we may do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Amen!
We ask ### to go forth and be a disciple, make disciples to other persons, so that the Word of God abides in her spirit and save them from this broken world. We pray this forever to the Glory of God in Jesus Name!
