We come before you, Lord Jesus, lifting up ### and their family in prayer, pleading your precious blood over them, and asking for your divine protection and intervention. We stand on the promises of your Word, such as Psalm 91, which assures us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and no harm will overtake them.
Firstly, we address the issue of relationships and the sanctity of marriage. We see that there are concerns about certain relationships and behaviors that are not aligned with biblical principles. We rebuke the sin of fornication, adultery, and homosexuality, as the Word of God clearly teaches that these are sinful and destructive behaviors (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Leviticus 18:22). We pray that all involved would repent of these sins and turn to Jesus, seeking forgiveness and the power to live according to his will.
We ask for your grace and mercy, Lord Jesus, to intervene in these situations and bring conviction, repentance, and salvation to those who are living in sin. We pray that you would heal and restore marriages, and draw unbelieving spouses to yourself, as we are reminded in 1 Corinthians 7:14, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband."
We also pray for the protection and well-being of the children involved. We ask that you would shield them from harm, both physical and emotional, and draw them to yourself, revealing your love and goodness to them. We pray that you would bring healing and restoration to their young hearts and minds, as it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We take authority over the enemy's attacks and schemes, rebuking every evil spirit that seeks to harm or destroy this family. We stand on the promise of Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us... that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus." We declare that every curse is broken, and every blessing released, in Jesus' name.
We also lift up the nations and people groups mentioned, asking for your mercy and intervention. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as Psalm 122:6 commands, and we ask that you would draw multitudes to yourself, even in this late hour. We intercede for those suffering from war, violence, abuse, and disaster, asking that you would send help, comfort, and deliverance.
We thank you and praise you, Lord Jesus, for all that you have done and will continue to do in the lives of ### and their family. We trust in your faithfulness and goodness, and we ask that you would help us to fix our eyes on you, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray and intercede, amen.
