We commend you for your heartfelt prayer and your desire to align with God's will. Let us stand together in prayer and encouragement, rooted in the Word of God.
Your concern for Kelly is evident, and it is important to remember that God's design for relationships is clear. Living together outside of marriage is not in accordance with God's will, as it is written in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Let us pray that Kelly seeks God's face and obeys His commandments.
**Prayer:**
Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Kelly and her situation. Block any plans that are not in alignment with Your will, Lord. Draw Kellyβs heart closer to You, that she may seek Your face and walk in Your ways, as it is written in Psalm 27:8, "My heart says of you, 'Seek his face!' Your face, Lord, I will seek." Help her to focus on her studies, her job, family, and most importantly, her relationship with You.
Father, we pray for a godly spouse for Kelly. Someone who loves You, loves Kelly, respects, and cherishes her, just as Ephesians 5:25-28 teaches us, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord does the church."
Lord Jesus, please block any evil plots against our family and transform the lives of those who seek to harm them. Protect Kelly from ungodly influence, especially from those who do not respect her parents and encourage disobedience. Help her to honor her parents, as commanded in Ephesians 6:2, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise.
Father, we also pray for godly unity within our family. May Your love bind us together in perfect unity, as Colossians 3:14 encourages, "Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection." Fill our home with Your blessings, favor, love, peace, happiness, unity, and protection.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
**Encouragement:**
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
