The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters

3 he restores my soul;
He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up RMathews and their prayer request. We thank you for the beautiful reminder from Psalm 23 that you are our Shepherd and we lack nothing. We praise you for leading us to green pastures and still waters, where our souls find rest and restoration.

Lord, we ask that you continue to guide RMathews in the right paths for your name's sake. Even in the midst of the darkest valleys, we pray that they will not fear any evil, for you are with them. May they find comfort in knowing that your rod and staff are there to protect and guide them.

We thank you for the assurance that you prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. We pray that you will anoint RMathews' head with oil, overflowing their cup with your blessings. May they experience your goodness and mercy every day of their life, and may they dwell in your house forever.

Father, we ask that you grant RMathews the strength and faith to trust in your mysterious ways, even when they cannot understand your plans. Help them to walk uprightly, bringing glory to your name. May they find courage and hope in you, singing praises to you in every circumstance.

We declare that RMathews will not be ashamed, for they believe in you and trust in your unfailing love. We thank you for your faithfulness and for working your sovereign will in their life.

Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to teach me how and cause me to trust You and trust in You with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding. In all my ways, in everything I do, let me acknowledge You first, pray, seek Your will in the matter, and allow You to direct the footsteps that I take, the words that I speak, and how I conduct myself.
