Lord, increase my faith

We are grateful for your heartfelt request, justinvd, as it reflects a deep longing to grow in faith and dependence on God. It's wonderful to see your acknowledgment of God's power and your need for Him. As the Bible tells us, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him" Hebrews 11:6 WEB.

Firstly, let's remember that faith is not something we can manufacture on our own, but it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB reminds us, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." Therefore, let's pray together for God to increase your faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up justinvd, who has cried out to You, seeking more faith. Lord, You know their heart and their desire to serve You more fully. We ask that You would graciously increase their faith, help them do better, and help them to walk in Your ways. Remind them that without You, we are nothing, but with You, all things are possible. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. Help them to trust in You even in the face of trials.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Justinvd, as you continue to seek God, remember to spend time in His Word, the Bible. Romans 10:17 WEB tells us that "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." The more you immerse yourself in His Word, the more your faith will grow.

Also, be mindful that faith is not just about believing what God can do, but also about trusting in Him even when we don't see immediate results. Remember 2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB "for we walk by faith".

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior. Believe in Him, confess your sins, and commit to following Him. This is the most important step in your journey of faith.

Remember, we are here for you, praying and believing that God will strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep growing in your faith.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a humble heart, seeking the power and presence of Your Holy Spirit. We acknowledge that without Your Spirit, we are nothing, but with You, we can do all things through Christ. Lord, I ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this person in great measure. Fill him anew, that he may be empowered to live a life that reflects Your love, Your grace, and Your truth. Let Your Spirit guide him in every decision, lead him in all his relationships, and strengthen him in his weaknesses. Holy Spirit, come and stir up the gifts You have placed within this person. Help him to walk in Your wisdom, speak with Your words, and serve with Your love.
