Beloved of All
Distraction is more powerful than Satan. If the Lord has shown you mercy, do not mock us or think that we are lazy. The mercy of God is deeper than forgiveness (Psalm 102:13).
If love is the climax of Christianity and the highest quality of God's character, who should we continue to mock others? I have never for any reason inboxed anyone in this group for material assistance. I usually post about my feelings and my situation. Christians whose love is a transaction inspired by greed have inboxed me and rained abusive words at me.
Brethren, we are not saved by our financial prowess or by our social status. Everything we hold onto is transient. Those looking at the underprivileged as lesser humans, I will love to tell you that:
- not every good pastor is a mentor
- not every church is a place for us
- not every Christian can be a coach and
- not every gift is inspired by God.
If you think that everyone going through situations of life is not fit to mingle among Christians, your faith is inspired by discrimination and greed. If you feel you cannot pray for us, stop teasing us. You don't know what we go through every day. You don't know from where we come from.
My prayer point is that "Lord, have mercy on me. Remember the lazy with the issue of blood, blind Bartimaeus ignored the opposing crowd and cried with a loud voice to Jesus, saying 'Son of David, have mercy on me.' Just like Bartimaeus, I have been crying to Jesus for mercy. Kindly pray for me."
