Lord, if I receive the punishment I deserve, then where is mercy? If judgement falls on me as a result of my actions, where is mercy, oh Lord? Lord, in your wrath, remember mercy. Are you not the Lord God, slow to anger and rich in mercy? Did you not say that you'd have mercy on whom you'd have mercy? Did you not say that if we had faith as small as the mustard seed, we'd be able to move mountains? Oh Lord, why is this affliction lingering? Lord, stretch forth your hand, not because I deserve it but because you're merciful and unchangeable. Lord, heal me not because my faith is enough but because I'm part of your altar of fire, where your servant always says his faith will perfect it for us. I join my little faith with that of ###, and I cry out loud from my heart to you, thou son of David, to have mercy on ###'s heart and every organ in her body. Lord, did you not say hope deferred makes the heart sick? Lord, help me and that right early! Amen
