Ehimwenman, we hear the cry of your heart and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the love and compassion that God has for you. He says in Zephaniah 3:17 (WEB), "Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing." Even in your darkest moments, God is there, loving you and ready to save you.
We understand that the burden of debt and the feelings of hopelessness can be overwhelming. However, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. In Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), it is written, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." Your current struggles can be a pathway to greater hope and character.
Regarding your thoughts of suicide, we want to strongly rebuke this spirit of despair. God has a purpose for your life, and He wants you to live in the fullness of that purpose. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ehimwenman. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and compassion. We ask that You would comfort Ehimwenman right now, and remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in their financial situation, that You would provide a way out of debt and restore hope. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair, and we ask that You would fill Ehimwenman with Your peace and joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God and to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Keep holding on, Ehimwenman. God is with you, and He will see you through this difficult time.
